My wife and I knew we wanted to install a concrete patio and replace a badly damaged section of driveway. We contacted 3 companies to provide estimates. Fred from Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. was the first
 contractor to return our call or email. In fact, he replied within a few minutes of our request. He was extremely accommodating, insisting that we schedule a time that was convenient for us.
Fred showed up at the agreed time and we discussed what we were looking for. We knew that we couldn't get the square footage and finish we were looking for within our budget,
but Fred was quick to offer not just an estimate, but REAL discussed several options/solutions that fit our budget. After taking his measurements, Fred sent us a formal, detailed estimate within 1 day.
Over the next week and a half we received estimates from two other companies- one was lower in cost, but didn't offer color and stamped finishes. The other was about within $200 of the Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. estimate.
When we contacted the companies to discuss timing/scheduling, Fred was extremely transparent providing a specific week when the job could be completed (pending good weather).
The others basically gave a window of about a two week time frame for when they could begin work. We ultimately decided on Colorstamp, to pour a standard concrete patio with a stamped and colored border.
 This allowed us the option of pouring a larger sized patio that also looks great. Over the next few weeks, Fred was very proactive with communication, letting us know that he was actually running ahead of
schedule with other jobs and his crew could begin our job earlier than scheduled if it worked for us. I had some concerns as I was going to be travelling on business, but Fred offered to come out on a Sunday
afternoon to mark out the area with spray paint, show us samples of the finishes he would use and answer and last minute questions. | |Later that week, his crew arrived as promised and completed the job within
the agreed time frame (2 days). My wife sent me photos of the job as it progressed, including pics of the final product. It looked fantastic. Fred and his crew also did a thorough job of cleaning up the yard upon completion.
If you are considering any concrete work, I HIGHLY recommend Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. They exceeded our expectations. Thanks, Fred!

Everything went Incredibly well! I contacted Fred after seeing reviews in Angie's List. I was not at all sure what exactly I wanted as far as colors, patterns, etc. Fred came to the house and walked me through everything, made suggestions and demonstrated an incredible amount of knowledge and professionalism. Once we agreed on what work was to be done (I opted to follow all of Fred's suggestions) he reassured me that changes to the color and patterns could be made right up to the day before the work was going to be performed. He stated that it looked to be a 4 day job and described what would likely be done each day. Later that evening I received the estimate and diagram by e-mail. I had received an estimate prior to calling Fred from a company that used EP HenryFred's estimate was half of what the other estimate was, and Fred's estimate included the 35 ft sidewalk, which was not a part of the EP Henry estimate. as aware that I was going to have all this work done and asked if they could repair 3 sections of his walk while he was out at my house. I check with Fred and he provide the estimate. I live alone and it just happened that I found out at the last minute that I had to go out of town and would not be back until the afternoon of the last day. Fred reassured me I had nothing to worry about. He was right. I came home the afternoon of the last day of work and Fred and his team had just left. Everything looked amazing! Perfectly done with a lot of pride. Everything was neat and clean. Neighbors stopped by to tell me how great everything looked and how professional Fred's team was. To top it off, my neighbor asked Fred, while he was doing the contracted work, if he would also look at replacing an old patio pad in the back. Fred's guys got that done too! I have already told everybody I know about my experience with Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. and feel totally confident in recommending them to everyone. You won't be disappointed!

Description Of Work:

Installed a 20 x 24 color stamped cement pad with a walkway to the pool.

Member Comments:

It went like clock work.  Friday they came and did the framing, Monday they poured the cement and did the stamping, Tuesday they did the sawing and protective coat. 
They worked in unison very well - it was fun to watch.  They had great suggestions as to the type of stamp and colors to use - they are good at what they do. 
I highly reccomend this company and am glad I went with stamped concrete over pavers.

We called Fred at Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. because we were fed up waiting for another contractor who took our money and was never showing up to finish our job. 
He ripped up our front AND back walkway and would not come back to finish the job after he had been paid for the majority of the work. 
That contractor is not on Angie's List but I would be happy to share his name because NO ONE should ever use him.
 Fred came to the rescue and really helped us out. He showed up in a few days with a full team, were able to find someone to deliver the concrete quickly and in two half days worth of work,
completed what the other contractor could not get done in weeks where he had beautiful weather in which to  work.
Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. performs high quality work, traveled a long distance to get to our home and are professional and knowledgeable. 
We would definitely recommend them and are looking forward to using them to do other work at our home.
 Of course, we were frustrated with the total cost of the project because of what we had to pay two contractors.  We wish we had called Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. from the very beginning.

Fred and his team did a wonderful job!  Fred answered all my calls and emails and communicated consistently until all our questions were met, and the design was just the way we wanted it,
and kept it within our budget.  They started at the day and time they said they would, their workers were efficient and knew what they were doing and cleaned up the yard after they left each day,
 nothing was left behind.  Fred answered any questions we had as the work progressed and made sure we were happy with everything before they left. 
We're very happy with the results and glad we chose them to do this job - highly recommend!

Description Of Work:

My house is over 200 years old and there are lots of unknowns whenever anything is attempted. Under a horribly broken and heaved layer of slate and concrete were varying depths of concrete slabs,
some 12 inches, some over 20 inches. They removed most of it with a  jackhammer and backfilled with gravel and tamped. The new concrete was brought in and laid and stamped and colored.
I also had a walkway to the driveway redone. It looks absolutely beautiful now. and we have enjoyed a few parties on it!

Mostly everything went as well as could be hoped. Because the existing concrete was far deeper than expected a big jackhammer had to be brought in and this added an extra day to the job. I will give the pros and cons.
 Cons: Picking color and pattern from a website is incredibly difficult. It really is. Until it was done there were real nerves about that.
 Pro:  The Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. team have a great eye for this however and helped enormously. It turned out beautiful. It butts up right next to another
 patio I have that is all herringbone EPH pavers and frankly this looks nicer, has far less maintenance and will stay beautiful longer than my pavers.
 Cons: When the whole thing was actually going to start.. updates, contacting..not the best at communication at times.
 Pros: Honestly, what difference does a day or two make with a patio I will have for years and years. Once they did start they worked like crazy to get everything just right.
I have nothing but positive to say about their work ethic and their team. Fred may not be the warm and fuzziest contractor that you've ever had, but his work ethic is fantastic,
his honesty and attention to detail is great, and he is absolutely driven to make everything exceed expectations. I don't think you can go wrong with these guys and I have referred them to several people.

Description Of Work:

Prepared area for concrete patio, graded and added recycled concrete where needed, compacted, installed expansion against existing masonry. Installed patio/walkway  areas with 4000psi standard color concrete
approximately 4" thick with monofilament fiber and wire.  Stamped areas with pattern and medallion, installed control/cut joints where needed, applied graphite & walnut secondary color.
Applied two coast of Vexcon 1315 with anti-slip. Total Area was approximately 850 square feet.

Arranged to have them come out on the 26th to start the project - Fred said they would be there at 7am - they arrived punctually at 7am and immediately started working  - had the area prepped for the
concrete by 1:30 and said they would be back in the morning to pour the concrete.  They arrived promptly at the time they said they would and again started to work - fastened (taped plastic tarp to the wall
 of the house to ensure no concrete was splashed on the wall and went to work, pouring the concrete, smoothing and leveling - applied walnut color to the outside border of the patio and then began the
 stamping process (included hand painting the medallion).  When the stamping was completed - they cleaned up the work area and left for the day - to return the following day
to complete the job (cut the expansion joints and apply the Vexcon coating) - due to  a change in the weather - called and requested that they complete the job on
Thursday vice Wednesday - this was acceptable to me and the job was completed as agreed upon.
 Fred and his crew were punctual, professional, courteous (did not hear any of the sort of language you may expect from a group of guys working outdoors in the heat and humid weather,
informative (took the time to explain what they were doing at all the steps of the job and giving the reasoning behind each step).  The crew seemed to really enjoy the job they do and could be
described as perfectionist (checked and double checked each item to make sure it looked right).  They even went so far as to build a lid for the opening to the craw space (using 3/4 inch pressure treated plywood the
 counter sunk the cover so that it would be level with the rest of the patio and strong/safe enough to ensure no one would fall through). 
 I will definitely be using Fred and his crew again in the very near future - (going to have my driveway and steps to my home replaced as well as another patio constructed in the front yard

emailed it that night. Needless to say. They came the following week and was done the job the in a three day process. . The guys were very professional and polite.
They even cleaned up everything before they left. I highly recommend Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. and would definitely use them again. In the winter I will have them do a driveway for us.

Added another approximately 450 sq. ft. of stamped concrete to install a hot tub and to connect and match previously installed patio.

Contacted Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. to request an estimate.  They worked around my schedule to meet with me and not only provided me an estimate but also design recommendations. 
Their estimate was very reasonable and as i have done business with this company for my first patio with no issues i decided to use them again. 
Upon receipt of my permits they were able to begin work within 3 days for setup and including one day for bad weather was able to pour and stamp within 3 days. 
They knew all the requirements and specifications for a hot tub installation and was included in the estimate and was applied flawlessly.  Next day first coat of sealant was applied. 
At the end of that day Color Samp Concrete met with me to finalize payments and upon their review of the patio they decided that another coat of sealant was required and returned the next day to apply.
 Was very impressed with the work and with how well it matched my previous patio.  Fred Bloss, whom i worked with for the entire project was very responsive and informative through all steps of the process.
 I will recommend Concrete Color & Stamps LLC. to my friends and colleagues and will use them again for my future concrete needs.
